An inside look of the 2024 HGTV® Dream Home!

I had the privilege of being an ambassador for Delta Faucet this year, and they invited me to the HGTV® Dream Home to see all of what they have to offer. The designer, Brian Patrick Flynn and his amazing team did an incredible job on this home! It’s a timeless coastal oasis that’s full of inspiration to take away from. You’re going to want to have these fixtures in your home, so save this link to check out all things Delta®.

Brian was unfortunately sick, so we didn’t get to meet him, but he FaceTimed us and told us about the inspiration, and his assistant, Sancha was there to answer all of the questions we had! We got the inside scoop that the design of this house was inspired by Something’s Gotta Give released in the early 2000’s. Think of the design like an updated grandma-chic in the best way.

The home was split into two levels, and the garage also had an incredible design that you’ll see later on.

As soon as you walk into the home, you’re greeted with a beautifully decorated home, paying homage to the history of St. Augustine with a fireplace made with similar materials from the military base. If I’m remembering correctly, it was a mix of shells and other local materials. There was also a beautiful panoramic view of the lush backyard.

For the size of the home, I notice the dining space wasn’t as grand as I thought it would be, which was so nice! It’s clear that the dinging space is for eating but the large kitchen and living spaces are for family gathering and hanging out.

The kitchen was absolutely breathtaking and the colors play so well with each other. The blue hues did not take over the space, but instead evoked a serene and calm feeling. The champagne hardware was perfect in this space as well. The faucet had integrated Touch2O® technology, where you can touch anywhere on the faucet to turn it on/off, as well as TempSense™ that indicates the water temperature. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a glass rinser and a pot filler - two things that I feel are absolutely key in a functional kitchen. If you notice there’s a single pendant light that hovers over the sink area instead of the classic 3 pendant lights. This is because of the A-frame of the ceiling and the sky lights wouldn’t allow for it, so Brian pivoted and decided on a single pendant. I love it when “accidents” make such a big impact. It feels like the pendant belongs there.

Next to the kitchen is a gorgeous pantry with a garage for all your essentials like a toaster, coffee maker, etc. I love this idea to reduce the clutter and free up essential counter space. Notice the color of this is not like the rest of the home - it’s a fun salmon color that’s playful yet still ties into the overall design of the home.

The master bedroom did not disappoint. It overlooks the gorgeous backyard space and had a large piece of artwork directly in front of the bed which seems like it doubles as a TV.

I wanted to take this entire space and bring it home to NYC with me. I cannot say anything but amazing things with this space. Let’s start with the cafe curtains by the window and the soaker tub! The double vanity on either side provides ample space for a couple, and behind it is the steam shower.

When I say this shower is large, it is HUGE!! The floor to ceiling tile was such a good choice and the skylights provide warmth and amazing lighting as it approaches sunset.

There was a walk in closet, bathroom and toilet on the floor as well. The home is overall gorgeous and the winner will be so lucky to have this timeless coastal home. Here are a few more photos of the house:

The main backyard has a pool, firepit, and an outdoor kitchen.

Thank you, Delta Faucet for making this trip possible and bringing me along on such a wonderful adventure in St. Augustine! I’m beyond grateful for this incredible opportunity. If you’d like to check out Delta Faucet for your home, don’t forget to click here to get started.
