What's included in the ticket price?

The materials, decor items, use of all supplies and instruction by Kell! Mouth watering appetizers and refreshments are also included unless otherwise specified in the event details.


Can I attend a workshop while pregnant?

We supply all of the necessary tools in a clean, safe environment which means it should be safe. However, if you have any health or safety concerns, please check with your health care provider before purchasing tickets.


Do I need to bring confirmation of purchase with me?

Nope! All you have to do is provide your name to Kell upon arrival. If you have purchased tickets for you and a guest, your guest must know the ticket holder's name. Once you give your name, you'll be all set to begin!


Can I reschedule?

 

It would be best to cancel your reservation since there is no guarantee that the same DIY workshop will be held in the future. For a full refund, cancellations will have to be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.


Can I cancel or send a friend on my behalf?

 

Absolutely, however, you must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event to receive a full refund. You can also choose to send a friend on your behalf - be sure to email SimplyHandmade89@gmail(dot)com with your name and the friend who's attending on your behalf.


Where are my tickets?

We don't use paper tickets at our events. Instead, your name is on our guest list so all we need is your name when you arrive!


What do I wear to a workshop?

You will likely be dabbling in paint and hot glue. We don't have aprons available so keep this in mind when you're putting together your outfit. Simply Handmade Studios cannot be held responsible for damaged clothing or personal belongings, BUT with that being said, there will be photos taken for social media so you'll want to look cute!


How long does a workshop last?

Workshops typically last for roughly 2-3 hours (or maybe longer). This information will be specified in the workshop calendar for the class you're interested in.


What if there is bad weather on the day of my event?

 

If there's bad weather, chances are that the event will be cancelled because of the weather. If that happens, you will receive an email from Kell by 11:00am on the date of your event if it is cancelled, though extreme weather does strike without warning! When a cancellation happens, the workshop will be rescheduled. You will have the option to attend on the rescheduled date or cancel without penalty. When should I arrive?

 

We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early to give you a chance to get settled in before we begin. Please note seats are not assigned and are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're arriving in a group or with a friend, definitely arrive early!
